Cubic CEO meets Tánaiste and China Investment Corp

Cubic Telecom CEO Barry Napier joins a breakfast meeting with An Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Simon Coveney, and Vice Chairman and President of China Investment Corporation Mr. Tu Guangshao in Beijing on Friday 16th March. The topic of the breakfast discussion was how Irish companies such as Cubic Telecom are seeking to gain a better foothold in, and understanding of, the increasingly important Chinese market.

“Spending time with the team from China Investment Corporation over the past day provided insights into how to develop the right and strong relationships in China as we expand our Partnerships” said Barry Napier CEO Cubic Telecom. “Having the right introductions and understandings is key in such a vast and exploding market like China. All of our partners see China as the biggest growth opportunity over the next 5 years.”

Strong synergies exist between Ireland and China in the high-technology sector. Cubic Telecom has been doing business with Chinese partners since 2011.
