Cubic Expands GCC Momentum Through Key Strategic Partnerships

Cubic’s mission to deliver seamless connectivity solutions to automotive OEMs is advancing through key strategic partnerships across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). New agreements with Ooredoo Group and stc Group, two international telecommunications companies operating across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Over the years, Cubic has worked hard to address the unique challenges presented by highly regulated markets that have proven difficult for OEMs to penetrate. By simplifying market entry for carmakers, we set the stage for advanced software-defined vehicle (SDV) services, with Cubic as the single commercial, technical, and operational touchpoint.

Our latest partnerships with Ooredoo Group and stc Group have further strengthened our presence in the GCC, allowing us to integrate local expertise with our global platform. Our joint efforts will ensure that our OEM customers can navigate complex regulatory environments with confidence, supported by the region’s leading telecommunication operators. It also means we can continue our mission of making connected services more accessible, faster to deploy, and easier to scale in the region.

Both agreements cover open new avenues across the Middle East, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. Utilising a localised and regulatory-compliant connectivity solution, Cubic will deploy eSIM transformation technology and integrate Ooredoo and stc’s IoT Connectivity Management platforms and underlying infrastructure.

With the backing of these collaborations, seamless connectivity in highly regulated territories like GCC will aid OEMs in growing a global footprint, ensuring they can deliver connected services quickly and efficiently – all while staying ahead of the competition.
