Dublin-based Cubic Telecom, was named ‘Technology Exporter of the Year 2018’ at the Asia Matters awards last night. Asia Matters is Ireland’s only Asia Think Tank. In addition, Cubic Telecom was also shortlisted in the ‘Expansion into New Asian Markets’ category. Winners of the awards were announced at a Gala Dinner hosted by Grainne Seoige on 19th November 2018 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Ballsbridge. Cubic Telecom CTO James Dennis collected the award on the night.

In recent years, Cubic Telecom has focused on solidifying its Asian foothold by making partnerships with influential companies such as Rakuten in Japan, and several tier-1 Asian mobile network operators. Additionally, Cubic Telecom will expand its connected car solution for Audi, Volkswagen and Porsche into new markets such as Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and South Korea. Cubic’s connected car services now operate in more than 40 countries globally, with over 1.5 million cars currently having access to this technology. Scaling for growth is a key focus for the company over the coming year.
